Renewal of Passports

Requirements:

1. Processing Fee – €  120.00
2. The form must be submitted with 4 color passport size photographs (full face), taken not more than three months prior to the date of application.
3. The old passport or copy of dual citizenship card or certificate.

Applicants pay by cash when they submit their applications in person.

Procedure for Processing Missing/Damaged Passports

The loss of the passport must be reported to the local police.

Requirements:

1. Processing Fee – €  170.00
2. The form must be submitted with 4 color passport size photographs (full face).
3. Photocopy of the bio-data page of valid or expired passport.
4. Birth Certificate (both original and photocopy).
5. Completed declaration forms one of which should be notarized. Click to download forms
6. Photo ID (colour copy)

Processing Time

Applications for passports are processed in Ghana and submitted for onward delivery. Please allow at least three months for the processing of your passport application.

The Consular Section is open to the general public between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
