On 20th July, 2026, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Malta, H.E. Mrs. Regina Appiah-Sam, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Malta, Hon. Chris Fearne, on Monday, 20th July 2026.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to reaffirm the longstanding friendly relations between Ghana and Malta and discuss ways of further strengthening bilateral cooperation. They also exchanged views on preparations for the forthcoming Fourth Session of the Ghana–Malta Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation (PJCC) and other areas of mutual interest.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the cordial relations and cooperation between the Republic of Ghana and the Republic of Malta.
