Courtesy Call by CEO of Ghana Music Awards Europe

Mrs. Mavis Oppong, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Music Awards Europe (GMAEU), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Regina Appiah-Sam, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Ghana to Malta, at the High Commission to discuss the upcoming launch of the Ghana Music Awards Europe in Malta.

The engagement focused on preparations for the official launch, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 16th  May, 2026 in  Malta, and explored areas of collaboration to ensure a successful event. The initiative is expected to promote Ghanaian music and culture within the diaspora and strengthen cultural ties between Ghana and Malta.

H.E. Mrs. Appiah-Sam welcomed the initiative and assured of the High Commission’s support within its mandate to facilitate the successful organisation of the launch.
