Ghanaian artist, Ms. Ernestina Mansa Doku, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Regina Appiah-Sam, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Ghana to Malta, at the High Commission, following her participation in the Malta Biennale 2026.
Ms. Doku was part of the pavilion “Redefining: Polish-Ghanaian Textile Narratives,” which won the “Best Pavilion” award, the highest recognition of the Biennale. The exhibition, curated by Natalia Bradbury and hosted at the Old Armoury in Vittoriosa, featured collaborative textile installations by artists from Ghana and Poland.
Her participation in this award-winning pavilion highlights Ghana’s growing presence in the international art space and the role of cultural exchange in promoting Ghana’s image abroad.
